Busch Rounds Up a Third Place Finish at Texas

Kyle Busch’s goal of making it back-to-back victories in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series came up a bit short on Friday night in the Silverado 350K at Texas Motor Speedway. Busch, piloting the No. 15 ditech.com/National Land Liquidations Chevrolet for Billy Ballew Motorsports, finished in the third position after leading 26 laps.
Busch started the 147-lap event in fourth place and by lap two and caution one was up to the third position. By lap 10, Busch was able to report back to crew chief Richie Wauters about the handling on the No. 15 machine and discussed what changes he recommended for their first pit stop. They agreed on a trackbar adjustment, four tires, fuel and a tear-off from the windshield. (more…)

Next Up for Busch and Billy Ballew Motorsports: Texas Motor Speedway
Kyle Busch and the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports team look to repeat their victory from last week at Atlanta Motor Speedway this Friday night at the Texas Motor Speedway. Should Busch pick up the win in the Silverado 350K it will be the second time this season the team has captured NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series victories back-to-back, with other wins coming at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and Dover International Speedway.
