Kyle Krisiloff, Billy Ballew Motorsports No. 15 Martinsville Preview
March 29, 2006- 2006 is Kyle Krisiloff’s first full season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series as he attempts to achieve the Raybestos Rookie of the Year award against no less than 10 other competitors. He currently sits second in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year standings, 16 points behind leader Erik Darnell.
- Krisiloff is the youngest competitor in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at the age of 20. Krisiloff battles with competitors more than twice his age and with as many years of experience.
- Krisiloff makes his Martinsville Speedway debut this weekend. Like most of the tracks on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series circuit, Krisiloff will see the facility for the first time when he rolls out for the first practice session.
- Krisiloff continues to make strides by improving his career-best finish each race. In the last NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Krisiloff avoided a last-lap wreck and crossed the finish line in the 16th place.
- 2006 marks the fifth full-season effort by Billy Ballew Motorsports. Over the last two seasons, the team has achieved four wins, two Bud Pole Awards, 23 top-10 finishes and 12 top-five finishes. The team finished fifth in the 2005 NCTS Owners’ Points Standings with eight different drivers throughout the year.

Kyle Krisiloff piloted the No. 15 ditech.com/Krud Kutter Chevrolet around the Atlanta Motor Speedway this past Friday night to a 16th place finish in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race after dodging a last-lap accident while coming to the checkered flag. Entering turn three after taking the white flag, Krisiloff was running in the 20th position, but thanks to some heads-up driving, he was able to avoid incident and pick up four spots in the process.
“When the accident started, I was all the way back in turn three,” Krisiloff explains. “The spotter was trying to tell me where to go, but they were crashing everywhere. I just went low and maneuvered my way through. I guess we were lucky. Maybe it was the luck of the Irish on St. Patrick’s Day.” (more…)
Billy Ballew Motorsports and Krisiloff Head to Atlanta with High Hopes
March 14, 2006
The last time the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competed at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, the No. 15 Chevrolet of Billy Ballew Motorsports rolled into victory lane with 20-year-old Kyle Busch behind the wheel. When the series heads to AMS for this Friday night’s John Deere 200, there’s still a 20-year-old Kyle piloting the No. 15 ditech.com/Krud Kutter Chevrolet. However, it’s Raybestos Rookie of the year contender Kyle Krisiloff, and he’s hoping the results are the same when the race concludes.
“Atlanta is a really big race for us,” said Krisiloff. “Billy Ballew Motorsports has run well in the past and Kyle Busch won the last truck race there. It is definitely the kind of race track I enjoy running. It shouldn’t take me too long to get used to the track because of my limited experience in ASA at the track. I really want to run well for all of Billy’s close friends nearby and more importantly everyone at Krud Kutter who will be in attendance.” (more…)
