Grubb and Billy Ballew Motorsports Ready to Rock at NashvilleKevin Grubb returns to the seat of the Billy Ballew Motorsports entry this weekend for the running of the Toyota Tundra 200 at Nashville Superspeedway. This Saturday’s race will be the fourth time Grubb has piloted the No. 15 Chevrolet in NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competition. Quest Global, Inc., a trucking company based in Canton, Ga., will sponsor the Billy Ballew Motorsports team this weekend, along with Woodard Pools who sponsored the team at the Kentucky Speedway.

“Nashville is one of those places you always want to win,” said Grubb. “To collect the coveted guitar is always on your mind. I’d love to be able to pick up the victory for Billy Ballew Motorsports and as always, we’ll have a good chance. We need a good finish to rebound from our disappointing run at ORP last weekend.”

Last weekend’s race at ORP was a heartbreaker for the Billy Ballew Motorsports team. After wrecking in practice and rolling out the team’s back-up truck, Grubb qualified the machine in 15th place. Grubb complained about the handling throughout the race until lap 148 when the truck’s transmission lost fourth gear, parking the No. 15 Chevrolet for the remainder of the event. The team needs a good finish to provide some momentum and optimism heading into the final swing of the season.

“I’d obviously like to have a great run in the Quest Global/Woodard Pools Chevrolet,” continues Grubb. “I look forward to competing at Nashville. It’ll be nice to have an opportunity to go to a track I’ve been to before, and I know the Billy Ballew Motorsports team is strong wherever we go, so I’m not too concerned.”

Crew chief Richie Wauters has already obtained one guitar this week. The NASCAR AutoZone Southeast Series raced at the Music City Motorplex on Wednesday and Wauters’ driver, JR Norris, also a team member for Billy Ballew Motorsports, was able to pick up the victory. The victory also occurred on Ballew’s birthday, giving him a nice present. The series has their final race on Saturday night and Norris holds the points lead by a mere 15 points.

“We had a disheartening run at ORP last Friday night,” said team owner Billy Ballew, “but we’re still focused on finishing the season on a high note. We’re glad to have Kevin back with us this week, and I think he’ll do a good job for us at Nashville. We’re also thankful to have Quest Global and Woodard Pools with us.”

Quest Global, Inc. is a trucking company owned by brothers Jason and Jeremy Dickerson. Quest Global, Inc. specializes in team service for expedited loads to the west coast. Quest Global believes that they are large enough to handle anyone’s transportation needs, yet small enough to provide the personalized service you deserve.

The Toyota Tundra 200 gets underway at 5:15 ET from the Nashville Superspeedway, located in Lebanon, Tenn. The race will be broadcast live on SPEED Channel and MRN Radio.
