Billy Ballew, owner of Billy Ballew Motorsports, is pleased to announce Kyle “Rowdy” Busch will return to drive the No. 15 Bowen Family Homes/Manheim Central Fla. Auto Auction Chevrolet at Bristol Motor Speedway for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on Wednesday night.  Busch has competed in a Billy Ballew Motorsports-entry two times earlier this year and produced amazing results.  Busch and the Richie Wauters-led team racked up a victory at Lowe’s Motor Speedway and another top-10 finish at Dover International Speedway.

“We’re happy to have Kyle and Bowen Family Homes/Manheim Central Fla. Auto Auction back with us,” said Ballew.  “We enjoy working with Kyle and he is certainly an outstanding driver behind the wheel.  He has done an awesome job for us this year already, and I hope we are able to capture another victory at Bristol.”

After piloting the No. 51 entry for BBM in his previous outings, Busch tagged himself “Rowdy” after the Days of Thunder character Rowdy Burns, who drove the No. 51 in the movie.  Although Busch will get behind the wheel of the No. 15 at Bristol, he plans to take his role as the “Rowdy” character one step further.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with Billy Ballew Motorsports,” said the 21-year-old Busch.  “We ran okay there last year and had a top-five finish but I want to go back there and get a win in the truck series. It’s fun for me; it’s tough racing and Bristol will bring out all that. I have a cool “Rowdy” uniform and it’s just about going out there and having some fun. I’m running all three series so hopefully we can make it three for three.”

Busch returns to the No. 15 Bowen Family Homes/Manheim Central Fla. Auto Auction Chevrolet at Bristol Motor Speedway, a half-mile concrete oval, where he seems to have much success, especially in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.  Busch finished fifth at BMS in 2005’s event and captured a top-10 finish and a victory at the Dover facility the past two years.

“I have to thank the multitude of sponsors that have come on board for this week’s race at Bristol,” said Ballew.  “Bowen Family Homes, Manheim Central Florida Auto Auction, Ronnie Williams Chevrolet/Pontiac, Manheim Orlando Orange Co. Auto Auction, Davis Dirt Racing, Alpharetta Self Storage, Red Top Auto Auction, and Woodard Pools have all joined forces with Billy Ballew Motorsports to allow us to compete this week with Kyle.  We’re determined to give them a good finish and there’s no doubt with Kyle a.k.a. “Rowdy” behind the wheel, he’ll get the job done for everyone.”

The O’Reilly Auto Parts 200 gets underway at 9:15 ET from Bristol Motor Speedway.  The race will be broadcast live on SPEED Channel and MRN Radio.
