BUSCH AND BALLEW LOOK FOR VICTORY IN DOVER

Kyle Busch will pilot the No. 51 Flanders Beef Patties Billy Ballew Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado in the Allstate Insurance 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race Friday, June 1 at the Dover International Speedway.

Busch has two prior starts at the ‘Monster Mile’ for Ballew, scoring a victory for the team in 2005 and a top-10 finish in 2006. In four starts, he posted three top-10 finishes in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series along with one top-five and four top-ten finishes in seven NASCAR Busch Series starts. LESTER LOOKS TO CONQUER THE MONSTER MILE

The Dover International Speedway is nick-named the ‘Monster Mile’ because of it’s fast roller coaster like banking and the incredible speed the one-mile concrete race track produces. These are the aspects of the race track that make it a favorite among many of the NASCAR fans and drivers alike. One such driver, Bill Lester would like to conquer the Monster Mile. He will join the rest of the of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers as they head to the famed one-mile track this weekend for the Allstate 200 Friday June 1.

Lester will take to the track in the No. 15 Christian Debt Consolidation Billy Ballew Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado for his sixth career start at the Dover, Delaware racetrack that doubles as Dover Downs Horse Racing and Casino complex. His best start at the one-mile concrete surface track was seventh in 2005 with a best finish of 11th in 2003. (more…)

POSITION AND PRECIPITATION PLAY A ROLE FOR LESTER IN MANSFIELD

Track position is key for a successful race at a short track like the Mansfield Motorsports Park, but throw in four hours and 12 minutes of delayed racing under red flag conditions due to thunderstorms, track position becomes imperative.

Finding that track position never came to fruition for Bill Lester, in the No. 15 Christian Debt Consolidation, Billy Ballew Motorsports Chevrolet Silverado, Saturday, May 26th in the running of the Ohio 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race after an engine change in the first practice sent him to the rear of the field for the start of the 250 lap event. SUTTON HEADS TO SECOND SHORT TRACK OF 2007 SEASON

Kelly Sutton heads to the second short track race of the 2007 season for the running of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Ohio 250 at the Mansfield Motorsports Park on Saturday, May 26, 2007. Sutton is one of only 10 drivers to compete in all three prior events at the half-mile short track and is eighth in total laps completed at the track out of the 73 drivers that have competed in prior years. Sutton has also completed 749 of the 756 laps run, and driven 374.5 of the total 378-miles run by the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series drivers. Sutton has completed more laps at the track then such competitors as Mike Skinner, Terry Cook and teammate Bill Lester.

Sutton, who has paid her dues at the short tracks over her career in the Craftsman Truck Series, sits in the best equipment of her career as she takes the wheel of the No. 51 Team COPAXONE® (glatiramer acetate injection) Chevrolet Silverado fielded by Billy Ballew Motorsports.
