Kenny Wallace was back in his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race since Phoenix in the No. 51 Flanders Beef Patties Chevrolet Silverado posting a 13th place finish in the 160-lap race at the Gateway International Raceway. JR Norris, the 2006 AutoZone Southeast Series Champion who was making his first NASCAR Craftsman Series in the No. 15 Flanders Beef Patties Billy Ballew Motorsports Silverado, scored a 16th place finish. Both Wallace and Norris suffered with tight conditions in the late afternoon Ram Tough 200 but persevered to bring home top-20 finishes for Billy Ballew Motorsports entries.

“We hoped to get a top-5 today in the No. 51 Flanders Beef Patties Chevrolet Silverado for Billy Ballew,” Wallace said. “We should have started with the air pressure up in the tires; it took too many laps to work up the heat in the tires. The track normally goes tight but we were pretty loose there for a little bit. We had a couple bad pit stops that put us back a few spots which we just couldn’t gain back. But I can’t complain too much. We had a great time today, didn’t tear up the truck, and brought home a 13th place finish for Billy Ballew.”

We struggled with being tight all day,” Norris said. “We started having a brake problem when I got into Joey Clanton early in the race. They were checking up in front and I got into him. I feel horrible and I really hate it for Joey (Clanton) and that team. Everything that happened really was a result of having the pads wearing off. I have to thank Chris Huff of Flanders Beef Patties and especially Billy Ballew for the opportunity to run this race. We accomplished our goal and finished in the top-20.”                                                                                                                               9/2/07 12:54ET
