The No. 51 RedTop Auto Auction Billy Ballew Motorsports team has one focus this weekend as they head to the Atlanta Motor Speedway for the running of the EasyCare 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race.  That focus is to claim victory one of the 2007 season.

Piloting the RedTop Auto Auction Silverado will be NASCAR NEXTEL Cup 2007 Chase for the Championship contender Kyle Busch who is also a regular for Billy Ballew Motorsports in the Craftsman Trucks.

Busch has given Ballew his only win at his home track of the Atlanta Motor Speedway in 2005.  Billy Ballew Motorsports has six starts at the 1.54-mile race track in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series posting one win and two top-10 finishes.  Ballew’s first race as a team owner was at the track in Hampton, GA for an Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) event in 1996.

“I love when we race here in Atlanta,” Ballew said.  “The team was started here at this track in this state and Georgia has stuck behind it ever since.  I have to thank RedTop Auto Auction for coming onboard with the No. 51 this weekend.  I’m hoping Kyle (Busch) can give them and the team a victory on Saturday.  We haven’t a win in the books yet this season and I’d like to do again here at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.”

Busch is no stranger to the Atlanta Motor Speedway with six NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Starts, four Busch Series starts including two top-5 and 2 top-10 finishes and one start in the Craftsman Truck Series where he scored his first win for Billy Ballew Motorsports in the fall 2005 event.

“I’m excited to be back in the truck for Billy Ballew this weekend in Atlanta,” said Busch. “My first run for him was in Atlanta and we won.  It was an action-packed race and at the end I saw the hole to make it to the finish line so I kept going for it.  The last lap of that race in 2005 is one I will never forget.  I would love to repeat the win for Billy Ballew and RedTop Auto Auction.  We haven’t had a win this year yet in the truck and I think we have a good possibility to do that here in Atlanta.  Atlanta Motor Speedway is fast, and I like the way you can run on the bottom or the top, making it a fun track to drive. That’s probably why you see so many exciting finishes at Atlanta.”

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series takes to the track for the running of the 22nd of the 25 race season Saturday, October 27 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway.   The EasyCare Vehicle Service Contracts 200 (130 laps, 200.2 miles) is slated to begin at 1:00pm ET.  SPEED will broadcast live qualifying for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series beginning at 9:30am ET with race broadcast beginning at 12:30pm ET.  MRN Radio and Sirius Satellite will begin broadcast at 12:45pm ET.
