Marc Mitchell O’Reilly Raceway Park Fast Facts

· The Power Stroke Diesel 200 will be Marc Mitchell’s first time competing at O’Reilly Raceway Park.

· A special decal will adorn the #15 truck this weekend. Seventeen year-old Chris Jackson, a friend of truck chief J.R. Norris, was recently paralyzed in an accident. The decal reads “Chris Jackson, In Our Prayers” as a reminder that he is in the hearts of everyone on the Ergon race team. (more…)

Busch Celebrates 7th Anniversary with Ballew

Kyle Busch will take to the track in the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Toyota Tundra NASCAR Craftsman Truck this week at the O’Reilly Raceway Park celebrating his seventh-year anniversary of his first NASCAR national series race at the Indianapolis track- Aug. 3, 2001 at the tender age of 16.

Despite crashing in qualifying, Busch drove the backup truck from back of field to finish ninth proving that you can pass on the .0686-mile short track. Busch has 12 short track starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series with a best finish of fifth at the Bristol Motor Speedway and the Martinsville Speedway both posted in 2005 driving for Billy Ballew Motorsports.

Ballew has Two Top-10’s in Kentucky

Billy Ballew Motorsports left the Kentucky Speedway, Saturday, July 19 with top-10 finishes in both entries after the running of the Built Ford Tough 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Kyle “Rowdy” Busch in the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort and Gaming Toyota Tundra started second. Busch finished sixth despite getting caught a lap down and coming from the back of the pack twice. (more…)

Busch Busts from the Back to Bring Ballew a Sixth Place Finish in Kentucky

Kyle ‘Rowdy’ Busch took to the track at the Kentucky Speedway for the running of the Built Ford Tough 250 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race in the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra in the second place position after posting a time 0f 31.539 seconds at a speed of 171.217 mph.

Although Busch started in the second place position he took the lead away from the pole sitter by the time one circuit on the 1.5-mile track was made. Busch held that lead for 43 laps as he battled back and forth with the pole sitter Mike Skinner clearly showing his class of the field. (more…)
