carNASCAR phenom Kyle Busch will make his return to the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Toyota Tundra at the Bristol Motor Speedway Wednesday, August 20, 2008 for the running of the O’Reilly 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. Busch was last in the Billy Ballew Motorsports Craftsman Truck at the O’Reilly Motorsports Park in July where he finished eighth.

“We’re really fortunate to have Kyle (Busch) in the truck this week in Bristol,” Ballew said. “With all his successes in the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series we hope to give him the tools he’ll need to win this week in the Craftsman Trucks.”

Busch has 18 starts at the .533-mile concrete track that looks more like a bicycle velodrome than a racetrack. He has posted one win in the Sprint Cup Series and one win in the Nationwide Series. His best finish in the Craftsman Truck Series for Ballew of fifth in 2005. In 2007, Busch was going for the lead got loose under the other truck sending them both into a spin.

“I’m looking forward to getting back in the truck this weekend,” Busch said. “Running in the Truck Series is just a lot of fun for me. It’s competitive and tough. And, if I can get a win at Bristol I know I’ve beaten some of the best racers out there.”

Ballew has seven entries in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event at Bristol with a best finish of second posted in 2004 by Shane Hmiel.
