Busch Bangs out Fourth for Ballew

Kyle Busch in the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra took to the track at the Homestead-Miami Speedway Friday, November 14, 2008 in the ninth place position looking for a successful season ending in the 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series
Busch has piloted the Billy Ballew Motorsports machine in 17 of the 25 Craftsman Truck Series races scheduled. He posted three wins, nine top-five and 16 top-10 finishes posting a third place 2008 Owners Points finish for the independent team owner Billy Ballew.
From the start of the event, Busch had called in stating his front nose splitter was hitting the race track so under the first caution he pitted on lap five. The early stop put the No. 51 Tundra to 32nd-place for the restart on lap eight. Busch had a dominant truck advancing to the seventh place position on lap 34.
When the caution flag flew on lap 40 Busch again came down pit road while in the eighth place for four tires and fuel. The Billy Ballew Motorsports pit crew had a stellar stop advancing Busch three spots in the pits restarting fifth on lap 45. By lap 57 Busch had picked up the lead.
Busch led twice for a total of 64 laps and looked to have the 134 lap race in the bag when a caution came out with less than 10-laps remaining. As the leader, Busch controlled the field and decided to come down pit road for two-tires placing him in the eighth place position at the restart on lap 129. Busch advanced to the fifth place position when the caution again flew.
When the green flag waved for the green/white/checkered finish in the final 2008 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race Busch was able to advance one spot bringing home a fourth place finish for Billy Ballew Motorsports.
