Ballew’s Boys Go Short-Track Racing

This weekend Billy Ballew Motorsports driver, Kyle Busch, Shane Sieg and crew chief Richie Wauters will be down south at the Lanier National Speedway in Braselton, Georgia for the SpeedFest weekend. Busch will pilot his No. 51 Super Late Model with Sieg behind the wheel of Richie Wauters No. 5 entry.
SpeedFest 2009 weekend opens on Friday, January 23rd, with a practice day at Lanier National Speedway for all Pro and Super Late Model competitors. Practice and qualifying events for both divisions will take place on Saturday, January 24th, with the 200-lap The CRA sanctioned Super Late Model and the 100-lap GAS sanctioned Pro Late Model events are both slated for Sunday, January 25th.

While Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) and some of the Billy Ballew Motorsports group will be on the East Coast of the United States, KBM driver, Alex Haas will be at the Irwindale Speedway for the running of the Toyota All-Star Showdown. Former Irwindale Speedway Champion and Billy Ballew Motorsports crew chief, Doug George will be joining Haas for this weekend’s events.
Action starts Friday, January 23rd with the Toyota Showdown slated for Saturday, January 24th.
