Solid Finish for Sieg in Southern California

Shane Sieg piloting the No. 15 Phoenix Construction, RedTop Auto Auction Toyota Tundra posted a 16th-place finish in the running of the San Bernardino County 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Auto Club Speedway.
Sieg in his career first start at the two-mile speedway struggled to get the feel of the track which relegated him to a 25th-place position for the 100 lap, 200 mile event. From the beginning of the event Sieg reported the truck was loose through the corners forcing crew chief Richie Wauters to bring the young driver down pit road for adjustments to tighten the Toyota Tundra. Sieg returned to the track and worked on his entry into the corners, improving with consistent times. (more…)
Ballew’s Boys Bring Busch Back To Victory Lane
Fontana, CA
Kyle “Rowdy” Busch piloting the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra posted back to back wins Saturday after winning the San Bernardino County 200 NASCAR Camping World race at the Auto Club Speedway.
Busch, who won the 2008 event returned with chassis No. 11 putting the truck on the pole for the 100 lap, 200-mile race on the 2-mile Fontana, California race track with a time of 41.341 seconds at a speed of 174.161mph.
From the start of the race Busch easily took and held the point position for 95 of the 100 lap event breaking the old record for number of laps led of 93. (more…)

Sieg Set for Second Start of Season

Shane Sieg and the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra team head to the Auto Club Speedway for the running of the San Bernardino County 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race Saturday, February 21, 2009. Sieg had a stellar statistical weekend at Daytona last week in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season opener finishing in 15th-place position.
Sieg was ranked as the fastest driver under green flag conditions of the race with an average speed of 182.354 mph according to NASCAR Media loop statistics. He was the fastest driver on restarts, second fastest driver early in the run and third fastest of drivers in the last 25 percent of laps run since a pit stop in the 100 lap, 250-mile race.
