Martinsville, Virginia (March 23, 2009)-Kyle “Rowdy” Busch will take to the track at Martinsville Speedway Saturday, March 28, 2009 for the running of the Kroger 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event in the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort  Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra.

Busch is coming off back to back Camping World Truck Series wins at Auto Club Speedway and Atlanta Motor Speedway looks to make it three in a row for the independent team owner on the ..546-mile paper-clip shaped racetrack.

In the 2008 spring Martinsville race, Busch looked to have the win wrapped up leading 32 laps when he was shuffled to third for the final restart.  Johnny Benson, in the second position seemed to lay back to either get a run on the leader or hold off Busch.  Busch went on the inside of Benson for the spot coming to the white flag lap.  Benson came down the track and Busch wheel-hopped sending Benson up the track in a spin. Busch was then tapped in the rear by the No. 88 truck also spinning and consequently taking the checkered flag in the 26th place position.

“I had a couple good runs on some guys and you just can’t get alongside them enough getting in the corner,” Busch said. “I thought I could get on the inside of Johnny (Benson) far enough, before he came down, but it wasn’t to be. I had a little wheel-hop and it got loose and slid up the track a little and made contact. But, you’ll have that sometimes in auto racing.  It is Martinsville and short track racing.”

Busch has made 15 career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series short track starts posting one win (Bristol 2008), four top-five and eight top-10 finishes.  He has 14 NASCAR Series starts at the Martinsville, Virginia track without a victory but posting five top-five and seven top-10 finishes.  Billy Ballew Motorsports has 21 starts at the track dating back to 1996, with a best finish of fourth in 2008.

The team will return with chassis No. 26 which ran last at the fall 2008 Martinsville Speedway event where the team posted a fourth place finish.

In 2009, Busch has posted two wins in five NASCAR Sprint Cup Series events, one win in four Nationwide Series races and two wins in three Camping World Truck Series events.

The Kroger 250 at the Martinsville Speedway is slated to begin at 2:00pm ET, Saturday March 28, 2009.  FOX will provide live nationally televised race coverage beginning at 1:30pm ET with MRN and Sirius Satellite Radio Coverage beginning at 1:45pm ET.

SPEED will provide live televised coverage of both NCWTS practice sessions Friday, March 27 at 11:00am ET and 1:30pm ET.  Truck Series qualifying will also be televised on SPEED live Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 9:00am ET.
