15-i16401Shane Sieg will take to the track in the No. 15 Billy Ballew Motorsports Toyota Tundra Saturday, March 28, 2009 for the Kroger 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race in only his second start at the Martinsville Speedway.

Sieg has one previous start at the .546-mile paperclip shaped track in Martinsville, Virginia with only nine short track starts in his Camping World Truck Series career. His best short track finish was in 2007 for Ballew at Loudon where he finished in the 10 th -place position.

“I’m looking forward to getting back to Martinsville,” Sieg said. “I haven’t raced there since 2004 so it has been a few years. I drive a lot of Super Late Models cars when I am not driving the truck so I feel I have a pretty good feel for these short tracks. Martinsville itself is a tough track with two long straights and two different shaped corners. You need to keep your nose clean and be easy on the brakes.”

The No. 15 Camping World Truck Series team led by veteran crew chief, Richie Wauters will bring chassis number 28 which ran last at Phoenix International Raceway finishing second.

“Richie (Wauters), the guys and I talked about it a lot. We think we have a really good truck for this race. I am really excited to be going to a track with a little confidence in your stuff. These guys work hard and I know that this chassis has had some great runs so hopefully we’ll be able to be there at the end and bring home our first top-10 finish of 2009.”

Billy Ballew Motorsports has 21 starts at the uniquely shaped race track dating back to 1996, with a best finish of fourth in 2008.

The Kroger 250 at the Martinsville Speedway is slated to begin at 2:00pm ET, Saturday March 28, 2009. FOX will provide live nationally televised race coverage beginning at 1:30pm ET with MRN and Sirius Satellite Radio Coverage beginning at 1:45pm ET.

SPEED will provide live televised coverage of both NCWTS practice sessions Friday, March 27 at 11:00am ET and 1:30pm ET. Truck Series qualifying will also be televised on SPEED live Saturday, March 28, 2009 at 9:00am ET.
