Brian Ickler posted a ninth-place finish in his first start at Las Vegas Motor Speedway piloting the No. 15 Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra despite a spin in the event.

Ickler positioned the Billy Ballew Motorsports entry in the 17-place position for the Las Vegas 350 NASCAR Camping Truck Series race Saturday, September 26, 2009.

On lap three of the 146-lap race another competitor spun clipping Ickler forcing him to come down pit road to check for damage.  The Tundra had cosmetic damage and with the quick  action of the pit crew Ickler was able to keep the Graceway Pharmaceuticals truck on the lead lap restarting in the 32nd-place position on lap seven.

Ickler was on a mission advancing though the field to the 19th-place position on lap 12.  Ickler had reported that the Tundra was loose looking forward to the next caution for adjustments.  But unfortunately the truck got out from Ickler, coming off turn-four of the 1.5-mile track spinning him across the front stretch grass.

The Billy Ballew Motorsports team moved into action and pitted several times fixing the damage to the Tundra.  Due to pitting too early Ickler had to start at the tail end of the longest line for the restart on lap 28.

Ickler advanced to the 21st-place position by the caution on lap 33 and continued to roll through the field running wide open around the Las Vegas, Nevada track.

Caution fell on the track on lap 50 with Ickler coming down pit road on lap 51.  Crew chief, Doug George called for fuel only with many of the other teams taking on four tires.  The strategy worked advancing Ickler to the fifth-place position for the restart on lap 54.

A long green-flag run on the track forced green-flag pit stops with Ickler coming in on lap 113 for fuel.  Caution fell on the track a few laps later while Ickler was running in the eighth-place position.  The team took on two right side tires returning for the restart on lap 123 in the eighth-place position.

With just 23-laps remaining Ickler did what he could with the damaged race truck to keep the position but lost a spot to his teammate on lap 133 posting a ninth-place finish in the No. 15 Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is off until Saturday, October 24, 2009 where the Series returns to Martinsville Speedway.
