The No. 51© Billy Ballew Motorsports NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Owners Points Championship was fouled by a cut tire and a speeding penalty Friday night in the running of the Ford 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Kyle Busch who piloted the No. 51© Miccosukee Resort / Graceway Pharmaceuticals™ Tundra for Billy Ballew Motorsports placed the truck in the eighth-place position on the starting grid but an engine change after practice sent the team to the rear of the field for the final 2009 NCWTS race.

Busch bulleted through the pack on the 1.5-mile race track picking up the point position on lap 60 holding the spot for eight-laps.  On lap 82 Busch had to come down pit road for a cut tire under the green flag and was penalized for a pit road violation relegating the team to a 12th-place finish in the 2009 series season finale.

Busch has piloted the No. 51© Miccosukee Resort / Graceway Pharmaceuticals™ Tundra in 15 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races in 2009 for Billy Ballew Motorsports posting seven wins, 11 top-five and 13 top-10 finishes.

The No. 51© Billy Ballew Motorsports team with five drivers posted a career best second place position in the 2009 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Owner Points Championship.

“To me we won the championship before we even started the race,” Billy Ballew said.  “We’ve had a heck of a year with both these teams and to come out second with a small budget and a small amount of employees is unbelievable.  I’m awful proud of each and every member of this team.  My name is on the door but it is all of them who make Billy Ballew Motorsports.”
